çıkan 3.4x kernelin cm10.1 de kullanılması gerekirdi geliştiriciler kernel geliştirirken düşünerek geliştirseler bomba olacak herkes cm10.1 bekliyor ama kimsenin uğraştığı yok tek arco uğraşcaksa ancak hazirana doğru çıkar belki süpriz yapar cm9 finalden sonra aynı gün cm10.1 alpha

As I understand, what educk first did to get 3.4 booting, was to put the 3.4 kernel sources from kernel.org on top of the msm7x30 kernel. Then castagnait wrote that it's not exactly the right way to do it, and that the kernel should be based on one from CAF. This he is right about. Then educk took the kernel sources from the korg branch on CAF, and put the code from msm7x30 kernel on top of that. This in fact is the exact same thing as educk did first, just the other way around. The korg branch on CAF is an identical copy of the sources from kernel.org, and doesn't contain anything MSM specific. It's just the raw kernel sources.
The proper way to do this, is to base the kernel on a kernel branch from CAF that they have adapted for MSM boards. Now, there's a lot of different branches, and not every one is suited for msm7x30. Some are general branches for a range of platforms, and some are for a specific platform. One just has to find one that's proper for the platform you want to work on. For jellybean (4.1), the branches that apply to the msm7x30 platform, the jb_rel_rb1.2 and jb_rel_rb2.2 seems to be the most suitable I can find.
I'm not saying that it won't somehow work the way educk did it, but it's not the way I would do it. The MSM specific code would still be from a 3.0 kernel, so the changes CAF did to properly support a 3.4 kernel would be missing.
