C6 Firmware for Nokia5800 was a dream but you guys turned it into reality.
You guys are the best! companies should hire you hehehe
Now its time to Introduce Myself..
I am the creator of the original TasteOfChaos Firmware
and now im back to give you my latest creation
PNHT provided us the C6 Firmware to play with
and here is the TasteOfChaos for 5800C6FW..
This Bundle is A PowerUP for the C6FW for nokia 5800
so just follow instructions and read my tips and cautions.
Instructions
1. Download the original C6 Flash Files
2. Extract Rofs2 using Nokia Editor
3. Delete the effects folder and if you want remove some of the themes that are preloaded to save space
4. Drag and Drop any of the PowerUps to your rofs2 and overwrite.
PowerUps differ only by their theme effects
a.TasteOfChaosRISING- complete RISING effects for a TasteOfChaos Experience
b.TasteOfChaosRISING Lite- Reduced RISING effects
c.TasteOfChaosRISING UltraLite- Zero Particle effects
5. Repack and overwrite the original Rofs2 Flash File
6. Flash and youre done!
PowerUp Specifications
1. Preloaded Apps (Autoinstaller, BestScreensnap, BTswitch, KillMe, RomPatcherPlus, SisEditor, BatchUninstall)
2. Preloaded Themes (Blueshadow by Xcariba, Symbian3 by Rugge, Maemo by Swordlink)
3. System Changes
a. Cache C to E
b. Kinetic Scrolling TasteOfChaos style
c. Splash n Shutdown TasteOfChaos style
d. TasteOfChaosRISING Manifest optimized theme effects (it will rock your 5800XM)
e. Hacked
f. Startup n shutdown files Z to E (place startup.gif/.mp3 and shutdown.gif/.mp3 to E:/data folder) none by default
4. Wallpaper included
Tips n cautions
1. you should be using 5800 v51 prior to the flash
2. delete system files from your MMC (Sys, System, Private and so on)
3. Using KillMe app after boot up move akncapserver, aknnfysrv, sysap, telephone, homescreen, autolock, popupclock to protected
and if im not mistaken you can terminate the remaining apps to save ram.
4. the theme at first bootup will be white this will change once you open theme settings.
5. always use theme effects on coz its more gnarly that way!
6. the powerup is not for speed, for me the 5800 has its limitations and we cant change it, if u want a fast phone, buy one wid a 1Ghz processor hehe
7. the C6FW is not perfect (still has bugs, i stepped on some) but for me its the best for the nokia 5800XM

Sorry but i cannot get the lightning to show up on the screens (3 different particles and a lightning is included on the RISING theme effects)
