Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen. With one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard, the patented technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods—at over 40 words per minute. The application is designed to work across a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens and more.
Swype has worked closely with Nokia to bring you the best text input experience on your S60 handset. Swype plugs directly into the Symbian input method to ensure seamless integration with every application on the device.
Bug Fixes included in v1.0.16481:
- Layers issues
- Delete forward not working in Browser/WRT applications
- Language dictionaries not localizing when installed to different locations
- Language selection won’t update unless the user exits settings
- Swype defaults to English on reboot
- Languages install correctly but fail to open
- Switched to vertical Word Choice Window in portrait
- Crash on loading Finnish
- Updated SYM label to =#@
- Language crashes Swype
- Slow performance with German
- Rebooting during “You must reboot” message corrupts keyboard
- Edit layer formatting fixed for languages with long strings
