Wow
by M Scott I am not really a gamer but I found this game to be an awesome experience on the iPad. It's even kinda scary. I love it. Solid game worth every penny.
Great Game
by Compy H2O This is a must buy for any big time resident evil fans. I have put in a couple hours into this app and havnt run into any problems at all. The game is much more playable on the iPad, and the character models look much better, especially leon. A little too expensive though, but not a rip off. I'm still glad I bought it.
Better than the iPhone worse than the WII
by ResEvil4Fan Obviously , there's a big improvement in the graphics over the iPhone version. It's been a while since I played the WII version, but the graphics seemed fairly comparable to me.
The controller mechanics remain the same as the iPhone version, but I've found it much more playable. Having a larger area for the game pad simplifies aiming and feels much less awkward. Try out the free version of Resident Evil Degeneration to get a feel for how the game pad is implemented (although it's still better here).
I've only played 3 of the 12 chapters so far, but based on that I've concluded that this is going to be a pretty short game (I'm guessing hours vs days to complete). As others have stated, this only has the highlights of the WII version. The maps seem quite a bit smaller and there's far less exploring necessary (or possible).
Compared to the WII version, this one falls way short. That said, I'm not regretting my purchase. I noticed a few audio glitches so far (in one chapter, I could hear the background audio but nothing else (like zombie's grunts, shots, etc). If you're a RE fan with 13 bucks burning a whole in your pocket, I say "Go for it!".
